Match Report
Lets start with a "Thank You" to Donald and Wythenshawe Town FC for providing a good, clean and class game of football and we wish him and his all the best for the rest of the season.
This was a better performance than last week and some of you really tried hard, there was moments when some were walking and looking like your not interested. When we play like this the ones who are really trying are being let down by them that seem not to bother, I counted 7 times that the ball went across the front of the oppositions net and no one there to knock it in and "Knock" is all that was needed. The score card would and should have been bigger in our favour if these crosses were followed up by some one watching the ball. Next game I would like the 3 points so we can be forth in the table and not third from the bottom.
Player of the Match went to Rachel, once again you saved us a number of times and shown the class player you are, some nice footwork with speed and if you was to get more aggression you would be a force to be dealt with, I am sure you said sorry when you tackled someone. Well Done. Chuddy (Gt Hair) another good performance by you and you defended us well and as with Rachel a bit more of a killer streak and there would be no one to touch you. Great play keep it up. Dionne (there's only one) Great play Di, keep it up right time right place as always. Kelly big big improvement on the field today, once again there is a "Thank You" at the bottom of the page for the Goalie duties. You played good today but we still need to look up a bit and pass the ball early. Still a good performance and keep it up. Gemma (Taz) a great game once again. You never gave up and you had something to do with all those goal's, your work rate is above and beyond and you got one or two votes for POM. No need for me to say keep it up because I know you will. Well Done. Beth C Well done today, some of passes were top draw and like one or two above a bit more of a killer streak would put you top of the game, Keep it up Beth C ( By the way do you speak ? LOL ). Kat, well OK your getting better and it is showing but I am dad so try harder !. Some more aggressiveness and we would be top. Aimee, I said last week that we were a lost without your crosses and it showed this week, they are getting better and better and they are providing a very important part of our game. Well Done keep smiling and laughing you are making the Manager a happy man !. Beth B, like Kelly there is a "Thank You" at the bottom of the page, I know you was not over the moon about going in net but we need to make sure that the leg is 100% before we put you up front. A great performance and a very good goal which was needed. I wont say anything like there should have been another 5 that all the team seem to have missed. Next week you are up front and going to show your top form. Roxy, a bit of frustration today for me and you, we know what a great player you are and today we seemed just not to connect at the right times, A great goal in the first 10 minutes of the game but no more to follow, keep it up Roxy we will get there, Another one on the top scorer page !. Chloe, like some above we need that killer bit bringing forward and get stuck in, we had one or two chances today and they could have resulted with goals, We seem to be trying to do things on the volley, stop the ball control it then pass it, wild kicks send it in the wrong direction, but otherwise good performance keep it up and we will get there.
I stand on the line each week and I am saying what we have to do, I know its hard to take everything on board while trying to play, I am to blame for some of the confusion because I get frustrated with the game because I know how great you can play and at times, like today you seem to miss the Fire in the Belly and don't finish things. This score should have been more and we should have walked away with 3 points. We will talk about this on Wednesday. I would like for all of you to have your say and lets see if we can iron out the "Finish"

The Referee we had today, Sorry I did not get his name, it is on the league site. He gave an even amount of for and against and general did a pretty good job and encouraged play where he could.

Players Professional Conduct
Great performance once again, I like to see this stand in goalie's going that bit further to shake the opposition goalie's hand, lets face it, it is the hardest job on the pitch !. Well Done WAG's

No problems today that I can report, the League have brought in the either side of the pitch rule for Parents and Coaches, This will happen more as we return to the league games on the home and away basis.
